First off, we only launched our brand in July this year, so we are still working on making our first beer better and better... for now. Of course, we will be launching more and more different variants in the near future.
Now that we got this out of the way, to really understand our choice on the first beer, you have to understand our positioning of the brand. As you might or might not know, we are just a couple of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) nerds that loves to drink after training (for those of you who don't know what BJJ is, go onto Youtube and search some videos on it, you will see... its all about ground fighting and grappling and it is a very high intensity martial art). And after such high intensity training, we often need something refreshing. So needless to say, the IPA's and the porters and the stouts are all out of the question. So we decided to make a light and refreshing beer, namely a pale ale. I have admit what we have is an American Pale Ale, but we decided to call it just "A Pale Ale" because as you study into craft beer, the only real difference here between different types of pale ales is just the origin of it. Of course now, it is about where the hops come from. But underneath it all, it is still just a pale ale.
So that is the gist of it. We wanted to make a refreshing light beer because we needed one like this after training. And I suspect many of you out there that train some type of sports or do some types of regular exercises also like to drink afterwards. In which case, why not give ours a try.
